Traffic diversions announced on key Islamabad highways

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police spokesperson has issued a traffic advisory stating that traffic diversions will be put in place on the Express Highway and Srinagar Highway at different times, due to which citizens may face difficulties in transportation.

According to the spokesperson, traffic flow is likely to be affected during these measures, so citizens should allow extra time for travel to avoid any kind of trouble.

Citizens have been asked to fully cooperate with the traffic police and show patience. Officials say that the Islamabad Traffic Police will remain present on the roads to guide and facilitate citizens.

Citizens have been directed to follow the WhatsApp channel of the Islamabad Traffic Police for more information and awareness of the latest situation.
