PESHAWAR: Police officials confirmed that a training aircraft crashed in Swabi’s Gandaf area on Tuesday. The incident took place when the aircraft was conducting routine training exercises.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. According to the authorities, the pilot and crew managed to get out of the plane safely using parachutes before the impact. Although the plane was destroyed, the two men escaped unharmed.
Emergency teams immediately reached the spot and started assessing the situation. Preliminary investigation suggests that the cause of the accident may be a technical fault, but further investigation is underway to find out the exact cause of the accident.
Local authorities have secured the area, and a detailed investigation is expected to follow.
