Champions Trophy 2025: Expected schedule revealed

ISLAMABAD: The 2025 Champions Trophy is just a few months away as Pakistan is set to host its first mega event in a long time. This tournament will be played from February 19 to March 9 in three locations of Pakistan, Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi.

According to multiple reports, India will not be touring the country, with their matches expected to be held in the UAE, with Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai being shortlisted as possible venues. It is not a shock as relations between the two neighboring countries have not improved, BCCI is reluctant to send its team to Pakistan.

However, all the other competing countries are scheduled to visit the country for the Champions Trophy 2025. According to sources, the expected schedule of the tournament includes India’s matches in Dubai, which also includes Pakistan vs India, while the remaining matches The above mentioned three Pakistanis will proceed as per schedule.

According to the tentative schedule revealed by the sources, the first match of the Champions Trophy 2025 between the hosts Pakistan and the Black Caps, New Zealand will be held on February 19 in Karachi. In case India does not qualify, the final of the tournament will be held in Lahore. If India qualifies, the final will be played in the United Arab Emirates, the venue of which is yet to be confirmed.
