Transport fares reduced across Pakistan as petrol prices drop

ISLAMABAD: After the government decided to reduce the prices of petroleum products, Transport owners have announced a 40 percent reduction in public and goods transport fares.

According to the details, the President of the Pakistan Goods Transport Association has issued an important statement saying that goods transport fares have been reduced by Rs 40 across Pakistan with immediate effect.

He welcomed the government’s decision to reduce diesel prices and said that this will bring a clear reduction in the cost of freight, which will directly benefit the common man.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced a significant reduction in petrol and diesel prices last night. Following these government moves, the transport sector has responded quickly by significantly reducing fares, after which the public now expects huge savings in travel and transportation of goods.

Petrol prices drop by 12 rupees, Diesel prices drop by Rs 135

Earlier, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced a reduction in the price of diesel by Rs 135 and the price of petrol by Rs 12 per liter.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while addressing the nation, said that I announce a reduction in the price of diesel by Rs 135 and the price of petrol by Rs 12 per liter.

The Prime Minister said that the new price of diesel will be Rs 385 and the new price of petrol will be Rs 366.

The reduction in the prices of diesel and petrol will be implemented from 12 o’clock tonight.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while addressing, said that there is no longer a war in the Gulf, but talks of peace are taking place. The parties that were face-to-face in the war yesterday are ready for talks today. I thank the brotherly country of Iran and the American leadership for this progress.
