Triumphant Graduation Ceremony at PAF Airmen Academy Celebrates Skilled Airmen

Air Marshal Irfan Ahmad praised the PAF as a highly professional organization.

KARACHI: In a dazzling Passing Out Parade, 1410 Aero Apprentices, including 66 from the Pakistan Navy and 01 from Sri Lanka, marked the culmination of their rigorous technical training at the PAF Airmen Academy in Korangi Creek, Karachi. The ceremony, held today, was graced by Air Marshal Irfan Ahmad, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Air Defence), Pakistan Air Force, who commended the graduating airmen for their dedication and commitment.

Air Vice Marshal Syed Imran Majid Ali, Air Officer Commanding, PAF Academy Korangi Creek, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, and the occasion was a testament to the academy’s relentless pursuit of excellence in training the next generation of defenders of the skies.

Addressing the gathering, Air Marshal Irfan Ahmad praised the PAF as a highly professional organization, revered for its combat efficiency and unwavering dedication during challenging times. He emphasized the PAF’s capability to safeguard the nation’s aerial boundaries, thanks to its state-of-the-art weaponry and operational preparedness.

Highlighting the importance of harmonized training in the current security landscape, the Chief Guest emphasized the need for a skilled and capable PAF workforce to protect and maintain the nation’s defense assets. He congratulated the graduating airmen, expressing confidence in their ability to contribute significantly to the PAF’s legacy.

The ceremony also saw the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Air Defence) commend the Academy’s Instructional Staff for their tireless efforts in shaping the future defenders of the nation.

The momentous occasion included the presentation of awards, with Aircraftman Talha Usman receiving the prestigious Chief of the Air Staff Trophy for Overall Best Performance. Aircraftman Muhammad Arslan secured the Asghar Khan Trophy for the Overall Best Performance in Aeronautics, while Aircraftman Talha Usman was honored with the Nur Khan Trophy for the Best in Avionics Technology. Academy Sergeant Aircraftman Anees Ur Rehman was awarded the Air Officer Commanding Trophy for the Best Performance in General Service Training. LAC Abeykoon ABMS from Sri Lanka was celebrated with the Trophy for Best Performance among foreign trainees.
