Punjab govt to release salaries, pensions on March 16 ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr
KARACHI: The Election Commission of Sindh has distributed two months’ worth of extra salaries among its staff, which totals an astonishing Rs4.98 crore.
The Head Office received Rs 1.14 crore alone, and drivers and peons will also receive three extra paychecks.
Offices at the regional level are also not left out in the windfall. The one at Hyderabad received over Rs 15.75 lakh, at Sukkur about Rs 14.75 lakh, Karachi over Rs 12.75 lakh, and at Larkana around Rs 15.75 lakh.
