Two sanitary workers killed by deadly gas in sewage line in Ahmedpur Sharqia

BAHAWALPUR: Two sanitary workers were killed due to deadly gas while cleaning the sewage line in Ahmedpur Sharqia city of Bahawalpur district, rescue officals said on Saturday.

According to the rescue officials, both the sanitary workers fainted, during the cleaning process of the sewerage line in Chongi Pirwah.

The rescue team reached the spot immediately after the incident was reported. Both workers were shifted to nearby hospital but they could not survive.

In another incident today, five persons injured in an AC compressor explosion in a house located in Gillani Town of Dera Ismail Khan. The explosion resulted in the collapse of walls of the house.

The rescue team reached the spot immediately and shitfed them to nearby hospital.
