Two TTP terrorists wanted in Dolphin Police attack killed in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Two terrorists were killed in a firing clash with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officials in Rawalpindi on Sunday.

According to a CTD spokesman, the terrorists affiliated with the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were complicit in the murder of a policeman of the Dolphin Squad in Rawalpindi.

During the firing, two alleged terrorists were killed in the firing by their accomplices, a CTD spokesperson said.

Both terrorists, identified as Naseebullah and Ehasanullah, were involved in the attack on Dolphin Force a few days ago as a result of which a cop was martyred, said spokesman CTD.

An improvised explosive device (IED), hand grenade, and a large quantity of arms and ammunition were seized from the terrorists.

The spokesman said that a few days ago a van was on its routine patrol and a policeman gave a signal to two bike riders to stop, the bikers did not stop and opened fire on the police van, martyring a policeman of Dolphin Squad.
