US condemns Khuzdar school bus attack, pledges support for Pakistan’s peace efforts

ISLAMABAD: US Charge d’Affaires Natalie Baker has condemned the attack on a school bus in Khuzdar district of Balochistan.

In her statement, Acting US Ambassador Natalie Baker said that the attack on a school bus in Khuzdar district of Balochistan is barbaric, and stands with Pakistan in condemning the brutal attack.

The US Ambassador said that the killing of innocent children in a terrorist attack is incomprehensible, and we share the grief of the affected families in this hour of grief.

Natalie Baker said that we pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.

US Ambassador Natalie Baker further said that no child should have to suffer fear while going to school, we stand with those in Pakistan who are striving to end this violence.

It should be noted that a school bus was targeted by Indian-backed terrorists in Khuzdar district of Balochistan, resulting in the martyrdom of 5 people, including 4 innocent children. The martyrs include Sania Soomro of the sixth grade, Hafiza Kausar of the seventh grade and Aisha Saleem of the tenth grade. Several children were also injured in the attack and are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Security sources say that behind all the incidents of terrorism in Pakistan, the hideous and distorted face of India has been exposed. According to sources, India has resorted to cowardly acts such as targeting innocent civilians.
