US tourist woman marries Chitral hotel owner; couple shares interesting love story

PESHAWAR: Love beyond the borders, a US national woman has tied the knot to a Pakistani businessman, Anwar Ali, who belongs to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Upper Chitral.

According to media reports, a woman from the United States of America (USA), Clare Stephen, married a Chitrali businessman, Anwar Ali, who is also a polo player and poet.

Anwar Ali said that he met Stephen a year ago when she stayed here in his hotel in Chitral, revealing that she had come to Pakistan for a few days, but later on she extended her trip to six months.

Ali said she fell in love with me, and during her visit, she liked the beauty of Chitral. Later, we decided to tie the knot.

“We have solemnized Nikkah, but the Walima ceremony will be held in his hometown,” Anwar said.

American woman Stephen said she accepted Anwar Ali as her husband due to his simplicity and moral values.

She said she traveled around the world, but Chitral is the most beautiful place on earth.

Stephen said that she will go back to the US after her marriage but will try to spend more time in Chitral.
