FLORIDA: West Indies defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets in the second ODI of the series to level the series 1-1.
The second ODI between Pakistan and the West Indies was reduced to 35 overs due to rain, and the West Indies were given a target of 181 runs.
West Indies achieved the target with 10 balls to spare for the loss of 5 wickets.
Casey Carty was dismissed for 16, captain Shai Hope for 32, and Sharif Rutherford for 45, while Roston Chase was out for 49 and Justin Graves was not out for 26 runs.
Hasan Ali and Mohammad Nawaz took 2 wickets each, and Abrar Ahmed took one wicket.
West Indies captain Shai Hope won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first.
Saim Ayub started the innings confidently but failed to extend his innings and repeated the mistake of the previous match by scoring 23 runs off 31 balls with the help of 4 fours and a six before being caught at slips.
Experienced batsman Babar Azam could not save his wicket on the ball of Sales without opening his account, at that time Pakistan’s score was 37 runs.
Captain Mohammad Rizwan began batting cautiously in his traditional style, supporting Abdullah Shafiq, and scored 60 runs off 16 overs for the loss of two wickets.

Later, rain intervened once again, and the game was stopped again during the 34th over and when the game started, the match was limited to 40 overs.
Rain affected the game again during the 37th over, and the game was stopped as soon as the over was completed, after which Pakistan could not start batting.
The match was limited to 35 overs, and the West Indies were given a target of 181 runs.
