Wheat production competition 2025-26 announced in Punjab

LAHORE: Wheat production competition 2025-26 has been announced in Punjab with prizes worth lakhs, including tractors, for the winning farmers.

Spokesperson of Punjab Agriculture Department says that at the provincial level, the first prize will be an 85-horsepower tractor, the second prize will be a 75-horsepower tractor, and the third prize will be a 60-horsepower tractor.

At the district level, the first prize will be Rs 1 million, the second Rs 8 million, and the third Rs 5 million. To participate in the competition, an area of ​​5 acres or more is mandatory.

Application forms will be available from the office of the Tehsil Assistant Director or Agriculture Officer. Members of the Assembly, government officers, and agriculture employees will not be included in the competition.
