Punjab govt to release salaries, pensions on March 16 ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr
ISLAMABAD: As the release of the budget 2026-27 comes near, the only question that lingers in the minds of government employees is whether they will get a salary increase or not.
According to the Sources, the government or the finance department hasn’t released any information related to the salary or pension hike of government employees.
However, the government is expected to give other reliefs to the salary class. If there is any salary increase it will benefit thousands of government workers and retired employees across the country. However, final decisions will depend on the government’s fiscal capacity and overall budget strategy.
