Will there be public holiday on Shab-e-Barat?

ISLAMABAD: The authorities have not declared any information about educational facilities closing for Shab-e-Barat on February 3.

The Sindh government declared Shab-e-Barat as a holiday for educational institutions in the previous year, but has not made any decisions for this year.

The authorities will issue a notification after they declare a holiday. Every year Pakistanis celebrate Shab-e-Barat which falls on the 15th night of the month of Sha’ban with deep religious reverence.

Special Quranic gatherings and seminars, together with religious events, are organized in mosques and other locations to demonstrate the importance of this night.
