Youm-e-Takbir: SC & LHC announce court holiday on May 28

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan and the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday declared a public holiday across the country on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbir.

As per the notification issued by the Supreme Court, it has been said that the court will remain closed on the occasion of Takbir Day on May 28. The hearing of all the cases has been postponed and will be heard the next day.

On the other hand, the Lahore High Court and courts across the Punjab province have also issued a notification for a general holiday tomorrow, in which it has been said that the LHC will remain closed across the province in connection with Youm-e-Takbir tomorrow.
