RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir on Friday emphasized the necessity for the young officers to adopt the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and devotion to the country, according to a statement from Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the PISPR, Field Marshal Asim Munir met with the officers under training of the 52nd Common Training Program of the Civil Services Academy.
On this occasion, Field Marshal Asim Munir discussed the role of the armed forces in protecting national security, internal and external challenges, regional peace and stability, while the Army Chief also highlighted the indispensable role of a talented civil bureaucracy in the state governance structure.
He underscored the imperative of inter-institutional cohesion, mutual respect, and unified national purpose in advancing Pakistan’s strategic and developmental objectives.
The Chief of Army Staff further highlighted the indispensable role of a capable, transparent, and service-driven civil bureaucracy within the architecture of state governance.
According to the ISPR, the participants of the Common Training Program appreciated this opportunity to directly meet the senior military leadership and understand the strategic vision, operational readiness, and role of the army in national development.
The probationary officers of the Civil Services Academy remained attached with the formations of the Pakistan Army at peace-time locations and operational areas of Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan. These officers gained rich experience of the three services during various interactions and visits, as per the ISPR.
The visit concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, reflecting a spirit of constructive dialogue, shared responsibility, and collective dedication to Pakistan’s enduring progress.
