Islamabad: Self-proclaimed singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, who is known for his off-tune songs on social media, has once again deleted his viral hit ‘Badu Badi’ from YouTube.

The song, which Khan uploaded on his official YouTube channel on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, received 28 million views and went viral in both Pakistan and India.

However, YouTube initially removed it due to copyright issues, much to Khan’s dismay but to the relief of many prominent Pakistani musicians, anchors, YouTubers, and social media users who celebrated his removal.

Recently, Khan announced in a video on his YouTube channel that the copyright strike on ‘Badu Badi’ has been lifted, and the song has been reinstated.

Khan expressed frustration and confusion as to why famous singers, anchors and YouTubers oppose him.

“I have worked hard for eight years to gain fame and earn a living,” he said. “I put my own money into my songs without any sponsorship.”

He vowed to continue his singing career despite the opposition, saying, “To those who want me to stop singing, I tell them that there are more songs to come and I will continue to sing.”

Khan also highlighted his unique appeal, claiming that he entertains both children and adults with his performances.

He added that I am the only singer who has young fans.

In response to critics, he warned that “if singers, anchors, YouTubers and models continue to speak against me, I will take them to court. I always stand by my word.”
