EA Rajendran passes away
MUMBAI: Senior actor and director EA Rajendran of the Indian film industry has passed away in Mumbai at the age of 71.
According to Indian media, EA Rajendran had been ill for the past few months and passed away on Thursday. His last rites will be performed in his native Trithalur on Friday.
EA Rajendran belonged to a well-known artist family. He was the brother-in-law of actor Mukesh and son-in-law of renowned theatre director O Madhavan. He married O Madhavan’s daughter and Mukesh’s sister Scindia and settled in Kollam.
Rajendran started his film career in 1981 with the film “Grishman”. He showed the essence of acting in more than 50 films in a career spanning five decades. His last film “Oru Param Kaliyattam” was released in 2023.
