LAHORE: In a candid revelation, actress and model Kiran Ashfaque Hussein Dar shared intimate details about her divorce from actor Imran Ashraf, shedding light on the challenges she faced and her journey to finding happiness again.

Kiran, who recently tied the knot again, emphasized that her primary concern throughout the divorce process was the well-being of her son, Roham, whom she shares with Imran Ashraf. Despite the separation, both parents prioritize their son’s welfare.

During a guest appearance on the Non-Stop podcast, Kiran delved into the complexities of her previous marriage, disclosing that there wasn’t a single specific issue that led to the divorce. She expressed the difficulties of managing family expectations, particularly her mother’s reluctance to support the decision.

The actress revealed that her father’s sudden hospitalization in Malaysia coincided with the day she received the divorce papers, adding emotional strain to an already challenging situation. Kiran highlighted that in Pakistani society, divorce doesn’t only impact the individual but has a profound effect on the entire family.

Opening up about her health struggles during that period, Kiran shared that she experienced fits and was not in optimal health. Despite initial reservations about remarriage, her father’s concern and her own personal growth led her to say yes to the idea.

Kiran acknowledged Imran Ashraf as a good father who actively cares for their son, Roham, in a beautiful way. The actress hopes that by sharing her experience, she can inspire others facing similar challenges and encourage conversations about the complexities of relationships and divorce.
