Saba Hameed slapped Hiba Bukhari during the shooting of a drama, and now the senior actress has shared the real reason behind the incident. She clarified that it was not personal but done for the scene.

Veteran actress Saba Hameed spoke openly about the moment while appearing on a Ramadan special show hosted by Tabish Hashmi.

She said the slap happened during the filming of the drama Fitoor, where she worked with Hiba Bukhari.

Saba Hameed explained that she usually does not slap co-actors for real. She said she is experienced in “cheating the shot,” which makes the slap look real on screen without actual contact.

However, in this case, the director insisted on a real slap to make the scene look more authentic. She said she had no choice and followed the director’s instructions.

The senior actress admitted that the slap was quite strong. After the scene was completed, she immediately apologized to Hiba Bukhari.

Saba Hameed also said that such moments are not pleasant for any actor. She added that everything is done for a character, and it should not be taken personally.

The actress has been part of Pakistan’s television and film industry for nearly four decades. She is known for her powerful performances in many hit dramas.

Her recent appearance on the comedy talk show Hansna Mana Hai brought attention to this old on-set story once again.
