Shahzeb Khanzada enters drama industry, writes thriller ‘Case No 9’

KARACHI: Shahzeb Khanzada, a renowned journalist and news anchor, has announced a debut in the entertainment industry as a writer with an upcoming project, Case No 9.

Taking on Instagram, Director Syed Wajahat Hussain shared photos of Khanzada along with him teaming up for the upcoming courtroom thriller drama which will be produced by 7th Sky Entertainment.

Saba Qamar announced his singing for the drama while sharing a carousel of pictures on Instagram, where she could be seen sitting with the Do Bol and Khaie fame director, working on the project.

“Revealing the working title of my new project: Case No 9. While diving into the story with my incredible director, I couldn’t help but wonder—do you know what amazing projects he’s given us before? Drop your guesses!” she captioned the post.

Shahzeb Khanzada’s debut drama will also feature Faysal Quraishi, Junaid Khan, and Amina Sheikh, according to the reports.

Soon after the announcement, fans and actors took to the comment section to express their excitement.

The drama critic Momin Ali Munshi wrote, “Cannot wait to see the magic that you guys will bring to the screens!!! All the best.”

One fan wrote, “Desperately waiting to watch this!! You have created wonders already!! You r blessed beyond words. incredibly talented girl.”

While another noted, “Courtroom drama. Omg. New roop of you!!! You’re gonna ace it. Waiting for it.”
