Arshad Nadeem’s net worth jumps to Rs5 crore

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Javeline champion Arshad Nadeem was awarded millions of rupees in cash and valuables after winning the gold medal with a record-breaking throw of 92.97 meters in the javelin throw final of the Paris Olympics 2024.

The athlete received prizes totaling more than Rs150 million from various government officials, celebrities, and organizations.

Arshad Nadeem had a net worth of only Rs 80 lakh before the Paris Olympics 2024 and owned a battered Suzuki car.

According to the reports, Nadeem’s net worth is over Rs 5 crore now after the Paris Olympics 2024, winning most of it in prize money for winning gold.

In addition to the $50,000 prize (Rs14 million) he received for winning gold, he is set to receive significant rewards from various sources in Pakistan.

Arshad Nadeem has been awarded Rs100 million cash and a Honda Civic car by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has also awarded him Rs2 million and a Toyota car.

He has also been awarded Rs50 million cash by the Sindh government, and the Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has also awarded him Rs2 million cash.

Pakistani singer Ali Zafar and cricketer Ahmed Shahzad also announced giving Rs1 million cash award each to Arshad Nadeem.
