DUBAI: The Asia Cup 2025 final in Dubai promises not only history on the field but also a record-breaking prize purse. According to tournament management sources, the winning team will receive $300,000 while the runners-up will receive $150,000.

The increase is a significant jump from previous tournaments. In the 2023 one-day format Asia Cup, the champions received $250,000, while the 2022 winners were given $200,000. The latest bump underscores the tournament’s growing stature and commercial value.

In addition to the glory of lifting the trophy, the winning team will be awarded the highest prize money in the history of the Asia Cup. The runners-up’s share of $150,000 also reflects the tournament’s expanded financial incentives.

The prize money announcement comes as Pakistan and India prepare for their first Asia Cup final, which will be played in front of a sell-out crowd of 28,000 at the Dubai International Stadium. The stakes — on and off the field — are higher than ever.

For the first time in 41 years, Pakistan and India will battle it out for the Asia Cup crown in a grand final in Dubai tonight at 7:30 PM.

The cricketing world is abuzz with excitement as arch-rivals Pakistan and India gear up for their first Asia Cup final. The highly anticipated encounter will take place at the Dubai International Stadium, promising a tough contest between Pakistan’s in-form bowling and India’s explosive batting.

Cricket fans have been waiting for this moment for more than four decades. Since the inception of the Asia Cup 41 years ago, the two greats of cricket have never faced each other in a final. Tonight’s match will mark a historic first, adding extra emotion and intensity to an already heated rivalry.

The final will kick off at 7:30 PM Pakistan time at the Dubai International Stadium. A houseful crowd is expected, with ticket prices ranging from Rs 32,000 to Rs 480,000, reflecting the growing demand to witness history.

Pakistan’s bowling vs India’s batting

Experts believe the real battle lies between Pakistan’s bowling attack and India’s batting order.

  • Pakistan enters the final with confidence, led by its in-form bowlers who have consistently delivered in the tournament.
  • India, on the other hand, will rely heavily on its dynamic top order to provide a strong start and dominate the crease.

The clash is being billed as a classic showdown: Pakistan’s precision bowling against India’s aggressive stroke play.
