Dhaka Test: Bangladesh beat Pakistan by 104 runs

DHAKA: The Bangladesh Test team defeated Pakistan by a huge margin of 104 runs in the first match played at Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan faced serious difficulties in chasing the target of 268 runs. Pakistan’s first wicket against Bangladesh fell for 3 runs; Pakistan had to bear the second loss in the form of Azaan Owais, who was dismissed for 15 runs.

Later, Shan Masood 2, Abdullah Fazal 66, and Salman Agha 26, Saud Shakeel 15, Hassan Khan 12, Hasan Ali one, while Noman Ali returned to the pavilion after scoring four runs.

In the match being played in Mirpur, Bangladesh declared its second innings on 240 runs for 9 players out on the fifth day of the game.

In Bangladesh’s second innings, captain Najamul Hassan Shinto scored 87, and Mominul Haque scored 56 runs.

For Pakistan, Hassan Ali and Noman Ali took 3 wickets each, Shaheen Afridi took 2, and Mohammad Abbas took one wicket.

Noman Ali also completed his 100 wickets in Test cricket. It should be noted that Pakistan won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first.

Bangladesh scored 413 runs in the first innings, in response to which the Pakistan team was bowled out for 386 runs in its first innings.
