FIFA World Cup: England team equipment stolen before opening match

England team was robbed before its opening match in the FIFA World Cup.

According to British media, the locks of a vehicle transporting players’ equipment were broken into in the Swamp Sacristy in Kansas City and the equipment was stolen, including the players’ training boots and footballs.

British media say that the Football Association is trying to find out the details of the stolen equipment.

According to a British report, their equipment was supposed to be delivered to Kansas City before the team’s arrival, while the players, including the England team coach, will arrive in Kansas City on Saturday.

British media have said that the police are in contact with the Football Association and are looking into the matter, while two people have been arrested on suspicion of theft.

British media say that the theft of equipment could affect England’s preparations for the match against Croatia, the England team will hold its first training session on Sunday.
