Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has announced his retirement from the IPL after 13 years. The Australian all-rounder said that he will not be participating in the IPL auction this year.
The 37-year-old Maxwell confirmed this decision in his statement, saying that after several unforgettable seasons of the IPL, he has decided not to include his name in the auction this year.
He said that this is a big decision. He said that the IPL has developed him as a cricketer and as a person. I got the opportunity to play with world-class players, represent great franchises and perform in front of passionate fans.
