ISLAMABAD: Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim once again announced his retirement from international cricket, here on Friday.
According to the details, in a message shared on the photo and video sharing app Instagram, Imad wrote that “After much thought, I have decided to retire from international cricket. Representing Pakistan has been the greatest honor of my life.”
He added in his post that he will continue to play domestic and franchise cricket.
He said that representing Pakistan at the international level has been the greatest honor of my life and wearing the green jersey has been unforgettable every moment.
“Your unwavering support, love, and passion have always been my greatest strength. From highs to lows, your encouragement has pushed me to give my best for my beloved country.”
He said that as this chapter draws to a close, I look forward to continuing my journey in cricket through domestic and franchise cricket, and I hope to continue entertaining you all in new ways.
In November last year, Imad announced his retirement from international cricket. However, he reversed his decision in March 2024 when the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) asked him to rejoin the T20 World Cup 2024.
