LAHORE: As per the direction of the government, the administration of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has repatriated 23 indian broadcasters back to their country on Saturday, according to media reports.

The broadcasters were sent back through the Wagha border after completing the due procedures, reports said.

Throughout the event, the Indian crew has been working in technical and production-related capacities. However, their services were immediately halted after the government’s instruction.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not released an official clarification on how the expulsion may affect PSL broadcasting. However. Backup arrangements were being made to guarantee the soft streaming of the PSL X matches.

The Indian employees were provided with the best facilities and tight security during their stay in Pakistan before the incident.

Following the attack, the BCCI had suspended the livestreaming of PSL matches in India, which were telecasted via FanCode, the official streaming partner of PSL.

It is recalled that the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) started on April 11 and will continue until May 18.

Moreover, the satellite TV broadcasting partner for the PSL in India, Sony Network, might also suspend the live streaming of PSL X matches in India amid the current circumstances in the region.
