Muhammad Asif dominates Naseem Akhter, reaches SARC Snooker Final

COLOMBO: World champion Muhammad Asif defeated compatriot Muhammad Naseem Akhtar after a tough match to book his place in the final of the SAARC Snooker Championship.

In the first semi-final of the championship underway in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Muhammad Asif set his sights on the title by defeating former world junior champion Muhammad Naseem Akhtar 3-5 after a tough match.

Muhammad Naseem Akhtar reached the semi-finals by defeating Indian player Kamal Chawla 2-4.

In the final to be held on Friday, Muhammad Asif will face Sri Lanka’s Taha Irshad, who defeated Nepal’s Ankit Man 3-5 in the second semi-final after a challenging match.
