Lahore: In the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine, the Multan Sultans secured a commanding 60-run victory over the Lahore Qalandars, who suffered their sixth consecutive loss under the leadership of Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Multan, after opting to bat first, posted a formidable total of 214-4, with Usman Khan playing a pivotal innings of 96 runs. Lahore, in response, could only manage 154 runs, falling short of the target. Despite an early wicket by Afridi, Multan’s batsmen put up a strong performance, with notable contributions from Reeza Hendricks and Tayyab Tahir, before Khan’s aggressive batting stole the show.
