Netflix’s ‘The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan’ to premiere on February 7

ISLAMABAD: Netflix, an OTT streaming service, has announced to release of the highly anticipated documentaryThe Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan, on February 7, 2025.

The sports documentary will explore the cricketing rivalry between Pakistan and India, and fans can’t wait.

Netflix India dropped a poster for the documentary featuring Indian stars Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag with their backs to the camera.

“Two nations. One epic Rivalry. 1.6 Billion prayers. Come witness the thrill of a legacy like no other in The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan, arriving on 7th February, only on Netflix,” the most-watched OTT platform posted while sharing the poster on Instagram.

The documentary will feature cricketing icons from both countries including Waqar Younus, Wasim Akram, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, and Virender Sehwag.

The comment section of the Instagram announcement was heated, with fans cheering on their teams and talking about what they hoped the documentary would hold.

A fan from Pakistan wrote, “Pakistan won most matches… India won their first-ever test match in Pakistan in the year 2003… but in this series, they will show India as a dominant force.”

“Imagine they opening with Mauka…mauka,” another user replied.
