Nooh Butt claims four gold medals in Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Nooh Dastgir Butt continued his impressive run at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships by winning the equipped class title after winning the classic category.

Nooh Butt’s spectacular performance started with the squat event where he lifted 340 kg and won the gold medal.

He then excelled in the bench press as well, lifting 210 kg and winning another gold medal. His performance in the deadlift was also impressive, as he lifted 300kg to claim his third gold medal.

Nooh Butt lifted a total of 850kg to win the Commonwealth Championship’s Equestrian title.

Earlier, Nooh Butt also performed exceptionally well in the classic class, winning three gold medals and one bronze medal.
