Pak vs Sri: Green Shirts complete clean sweep against Sri Lanka

RAWALPINDI: In the third and final ODI, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets to sweep the series.

In the third and final ODI played in Rawalpindi, Pakistan won the toss and invited the visiting team to bat.

The Sri Lankan team, playing first, was dismissed for 211 runs in the 46th over.

For Sri Lanka, Sudheera Samarawickrama scored 48 runs, Kusal Mendis 34 and Kamil Mishara 29 runs. Pawan Ratnayake played an innings of 32 runs.

For Pakistan, Mohammad Wasim Jr. took 3 wickets, Haris Rauf and Faisal Akram took 2 wickets each.

Pakistan easily achieved the target of 212 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.

For Pakistan, Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan scored half-centuries. Fakhar was dismissed for 55 runs, Mohammad Rizwan remained unbeaten on 61 runs.

Hussain Talat played an unbeaten innings of 43 runs.

It should be noted that the Green Shirts won the first ODI match by 6 runs and the second match by 8 wickets.
