LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Team is set to take on the Bangladesh team in the first game of the three-match T20I series at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore today, 28 May.
The match will begin at 8 pm, with the toss taking place at 7.30 pm local time.
Salman Ali Agha will captain Pakistan, while Litton Das to lead Bangladesh. Both sides had their first training session at the Gaddafi Stadium under lights on Monday evening.
Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board announced that Sri Lankan Ranjan Madugalle, a member of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees, will lead the playing control teams for the three-match T20I series between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Lahore.
Madugalle, who has also officiated the most international cricket matches (804) across three formats as a match referee, also led the control teams in seven matches of the recently concluded HBL PSL X.
For the first T20I, Asif Yaqoob and Rashid Riaz – both part of the PCB International Panel of Umpires – will be the on-field umpires. ICC Elite Panel of Umpires member Ahsan Raza will be the third umpire while ICC International Panel Umpire Faisal Khan Afridi will officiate as the fourth umpire.
Rashid Riaz will take the field alongside Faisal Khan Afridi in the second T20I while Ahsan Raza will be the third umpire. Asif Yaqoob will be the fourth umpire.
