Pakistan reaches into semi final of Asian Doubles Squash Championship

JAKARTA: Pakistan made it to the semi-finals of the Asian Doubles Squash Championship by defeating the Korean team in the quarter-finals, according to media reports.

The Asian Doubles Squash Championship is being held in Malaysia, with several countries participating for the trophy.

The pair of Pakistani players Nasir Iqbal and Noor Zaman defeated the pair of Jiang Min Ryu and Jaejin Yu, and Pakistan’s winning score was 11-3, 5-11, and 11-4.

It should be noted that earlier in the morning, Pakistan had defeated Chinese Taipei in the last group match. Pakistan is the second seed in the Asian Doubles Championship being held in Malaysia.

In another development, Pakistani cueists are on top as all three players participating in the Asian 6 Red Championship have made their way to the pre-quarterfinals stage.

The championship, featuring 32 players from 13 nations divided into eight groups, commenced in Colombo. Each player will contest three matches in the league round, with the top two from each group advancing to the pre-quarterfinals.
