Pakistan sets meager 68-run target, South Africa wins easily

RAWALPINDI: In the Rawalpindi Test, the Pakistani team could only give South Africa a target of 68 runs due to poor batting, which the African team achieved with the loss of 2 wickets.

In the Pindi Test today, the national team was in trouble from the beginning of the fourth day of play and started losing wickets one after another in the first session itself.

Today, Pakistan’s Babar Azam was the first to be dismissed for 50 runs, after which other batsmen also returned to the pavilion shortly and Mohammad Rizwan scored 18 runs.

After this, Salman Ali Agha scored 28 and Sajid Khan scored 13 runs, while Noman Ali and Shaheen Afridi were dismissed for zero runs, Asif Afridi remained not out with zero.

Pakistan has given South Africa a target of 68 runs to win.

For South Africa, Seaman Harmer took 6 wickets, while Keshav Mehraj took 2 and Kagiso Rabada took 1 wicket.

In the second innings, South Africa achieved the target of 68 runs for the loss of 2 wickets.

In the second innings, Adam Markram was dismissed for 42 runs while Tristan Stubbs was dismissed for zero runs and Ryan Rickelton was not out for 25 runs.

Yesterday, the Pakistan team started its second innings with a deficit of 71 runs, when 4 reliable batsmen Imam-ul-Haq, captain Shan Masood, Abdullah Shafiq and Saud Shakeel returned to the pavilion after scoring 9, 0, 6 and 11 runs respectively, and thus the national team was in trouble.

It should be remembered that Pakistan had scored 333 in the first innings, in response to which the visiting team scored 404 runs.
