LAHORE: Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Karachi Kings fast bowler Hassan Ali has been fined.
According to the PCB, Hassan Ali was fined for violating the code of conduct in the match against Lahore Qalandars on Sunday.
Karachi Kings’ Hassan Ali violated the code of conduct after dismissing Lahore Qalandars’ Haseebullah in the 19th over.
The match referee fined Hassan Ali 10 percent of the match fee. Hassan Ali admitted his mistake to the match referee.
The PCB said that Hassan Ali violated Article 2.5 of Level One of the Code of Conduct. This violation refers to using language, actions and gestures to provoke after being dismissed in the match.
It should be noted that Karachi Kings defeated Lahore Qalandars by 4 wickets in the match played in Lahore.
Lahore Qalandars batted first and scored 128 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Karachi Kings achieved the target of 129 runs in the last over for the loss of 4 wickets.
