Quetta Gladiators edge out Multan Sultans in last-ball thriller

RAWALPINDI: In the 28th match of Pakistan Super League Season 10, Quetta Gladiators defeated Multan Sultans by 2 wickets after a thrilling match. Gladiators achieved the target of 186 runs on the last ball.

Quetta Gladiators achieved the target of 186 runs set by Multan Sultans on the last ball. For Quetta Gladiators, Hassan Nawaz played an unbeaten innings of 61 runs while Khawaja Nafi stood out with 51 runs.

For Multan Sultans, Shahid Aziz took 3 wickets while Muhammad Hasnain, Obaid Shah and Peter Hatzoglu took one wicket each.

Earlier, in the match held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Multan Sultans won the toss and decided to bat first against Quetta Gladiators and scored 185 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Multan Sultans opened the innings with captain Muhammad Rizwan and Yasir Khan, however Muhammad Rizwan was a guest of 4 runs, opener Yasir Khan 45 and Tayyab Tahir stood out with 36 runs.

For Quetta Gladiators, Usman Tariq took 3 wickets, Faheem Ashraf, Khurram Shahzad, Abrar Ahmed and Muhammad Wasim took one wicket each.

Quetta Gladiators confirmed the top position on the points table.
