Rohit Sharma denies retirement rumors: “I’m not going anywhere”

MUMBAI: Indian captain Rohit Sharma has denied reports of his retirement from Test cricket, here on Saturday.

According to Indian media, he said, “As a leader and captain, your services to the Indian cricket team are a matter of honor for every Indian fan.”

To this, Rohit Sharma immediately replied, “I am not going anywhere right now.”

He said that in the last few years, India is the only team that has defeated Australia twice in Australia.

Sharma said that India has played well in this series as well, we are not winning the series but we will not let Australia win either.
