ISLAMABAD: The iPhone 17 series has officially hit the market in Pakistan, with Mercantile, the sole Apple-approved distributor in the country, affirming availability throughout its partner network.
Models released are the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the ultra-slim iPhone Air. All models have full Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) approval, which guarantees network support and warranty assistance.
The iPhone 17 series, as per Mercantile, is offered in Pakistan via its official distribution and retail partners. Consumers can buy the phones with assured PTA approval and after-sales service.
This avoids the uncertainty linked to grey-market imports, where customers have issues regarding warranties as well as network restrictions.
Pakistani rates are significantly higher than US launch rates, with the help of import taxes, duties, and PTA registration fees. For instance, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, whose US base price is $1,199, retails in Pakistan for PKR 565,000 for the base model 256 GB version.
