BEIJING: Huawei has introduced its new foldable smartphone, the Huawei Pura X Max, which further improves on the company’s unique passport-style foldable design.
The new model features a 5.4-inch outer and 7.7-inch inner folding screen, which supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz with LTPO 2.0 technology. The phone is larger but thinner than the previous model, while it also supports a stylus (M-Pen 3 Mini).
In terms of hardware, the device is powered by Huawei’s new Kirin 9030 Pro chipset, which provides better performance, while the phone runs on HarmonyOS 6.1.
The camera setup includes a 50MP main, 50MP periscope telephoto, and 12.5 MP ultra-wide lens, while two 8MP cameras are provided on the front.
In terms of battery, the phone has a 5,300mAh battery, which supports 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
The price starts at around $1,615 (approximately Rs. 450,000) in China, while availability in the global market has not been announced yet.
