ISLAMABAD: Stories are now an integral part of every social media and messaging app, allowing users to share different moments of their daily lives with other people.

These stories automatically disappear after 24 hours.

Stories have been added to WhatsApp under the name Status.

If you use WhatsApp Status, the good news is that the company is improving it.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, status updates will now be made directly part of the chat tab.

This is a huge change in terms of status and will allow you to see the status of any person who is not saved in contacts but has ever been messaged.

The report said that this feature is being tested in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android and iOS devices.

That is, WhatsApp Status will now become like Facebook or Instagram Stories that appear above the chat tab.

But this feature will not be enabled by default, but the user will have to scroll down the chat list, just like accessing stories in Telegram.

The report said that the statuses of the people with whom you are most in contact will be visible first, while it will also be possible to see the statuses of other people.

This feature is currently being tested, so it is difficult to say when it will be available to everyone.
