ISLAMABAD: WhatsApp is introducing two new features that aim to make the messaging platform easier and better to use.

These features are being tested in the beta version of WhatsApp.

One of these features is for status updates, while the other is for group chats.

The first feature appeared in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android devices.

Through this feature, users will be able to use artificial intelligence (AI) editing tools for status updates.

These editing tools based on Meta AI will replace the filters button currently available under the name Effects label.

Through the new tools, users will be able to change the image with the help of AI.

In addition, users will be able to add objects to images or remove the background while also animating it.

The second feature also appeared in the beta version for Android devices.

This feature will make it easier to follow WhatsApp group chats.

This feature will allow you to see the recent history of a group, allowing new users of the group to see messages posted 24 hours before the joining date.

This way, the group admin will no longer need to send them these messages manually.

This feature will be visible to the admin of a group on the group permissions screen.

This feature will make it possible to share the history of 1,000 messages in a 24-hour period.
