CALIFORNIA: WhatsApp is all set to roll out a new feature called New Storage Management, as this feature will allow users to manage storage by going directly to the information page of each chat.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, a new feature is being tested in the beta versions of WhatsApp for Android and iOS.

Users will be able to determine for each chat which media files, such as photos, videos, or PDF files contained in the messages of which contact are saved on the phone.

This new feature will be available in the contact information screen of each chat.

WhatsApp still has a feature called Manage Storage, which is accessed through WhatsApp settings.

But now making it a part of the chat directly will help users view or delete large media files, and that too without leaving the chat.

There will also be options like Newest, Oldest, and Largest to make it easier to find specific files.

It will also be possible to delete these files at once, while they can also be starred to make it easier to find them within the chat.

As mentioned above, this feature has only been introduced in beta versions of WhatsApp, so it is difficult to say when it will be available to all users.
