CALIFORNIA: In a technological advancement, WhatsApp has announced three dazzling features to enliven the overall chatting and video calling experience of users.
These features will be available to users from December 20, 2024, to January 3, 2025, for very limited time. These innovative features aim to add a festive sparkle to conversations and avail joyous moments during this year’s holiday season for WhatsApp users worldwide.
One of the big introductions WhatsApp has made is New Year’s Eve (NYE) Calling Effects. Video calls have a distinct look with new backgrounds, filters, and effects.
This is to light up the chat and spread joy while having a virtual New Year celebration for users who want to share their resolutions or just wish someone Happy New Year with a dash of style.
Another interesting introduction is Animated Reactions, The platform adds a dose of fun into its emoji reactions with a group of emojis inducing a confetti shower on the chat.
The new animated feature makes message reactions interactive and quite fun and allows users to celebrate in style with their friends and families.
Not only this, but WhatsApp is also adding a special collection of stickers based on the New Year theme. Special designs can be used to send festive greetings and reflect the holiday moods in a creative and fun way.
Whether it’s a warm wish or a celebratory toast, these stickers are an easy way for the users to share holiday cheer.
All festive features will be available to users on WhatsApp as soon as they update to the latest version of their apps. Users are invited to make the most of these features before they fade away on January 3, 2025.
