Field Marshal stresses unity over personal interests for Balochistan

RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir says that Balochistan is key to the prosperity and development of Pakistan, and the economic potential of Balochistan is being utilized through public welfare-based policies.

According to the ISPR, the participants of the 18th National Workshop in Balochistan reached GHQ Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, who was met by the workshop participants.

The socio-economic development and strategic importance of Balochistan were discussed in the workshop.

On this occasion, the Field Marshal appreciated the patriotism and steadfastness of the people of Balochistan and said that Balochistan is key to the prosperity and development of Pakistan.

Expressing satisfaction over the people-friendly development initiatives of the federal and provincial governments, the Field Marshal stressed on utilizing the economic potential of Balochistan for the benefit of the people.

Paying tribute to the courage, patriotism, and steadfastness of the people of Balochistan, the Field Marshal further said that the economic potential of Balochistan is being utilized through public welfare-based policies, and the role of civil society is very important in countering propaganda and sustainable development.

Rejecting agendas based on personal and political interests is essential for the bright future of Balochistan.

Proxy elements operating under the patronage of India are trying to spread unrest in Balochistan. Security forces will thwart all the evil intentions of the enemy with stern actions.

Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and stability is unwavering. Any violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty or border integrity will be met with a strong and decisive response.

Pakistan’s armed forces are fully committed to protecting the lives and property of the people. The session concluded with a detailed question-and-answer session.
