Last polio campaign of 2025 will officially begin tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: The last polio campaign of this year will officially begin across the country from tomorrow.

According to a spokesperson for the Polio Eradication Program, more than 45 million children will be administered polio drops during the campaign.

The National EOC says that the last polio campaign of this year will continue across the country from tomorrow to December 21, with more than 23 million children being administered polio drops in Punjab.

More than 16 million children in Sindh, more than 7.2 million in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and more than 2.6 million in Balochistan will be administered polio drops.

More than 460,000 children will be administered polio drops in Islamabad, more than 228,000 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and more than 760,000 in Azad Kashmir.

More than 400,000 polio workers will carry out their responsibilities in the national polio campaign. A spokesperson for the polio eradication program says that protecting children from polio is a shared national responsibility for all of us.
