ISLAMABAD: Temperature is likely to rise in more than 80% of areas of Pakistan from today.
The meteorological dept has informed that there is a possibility of a further increase in heat intensity in most parts of the country from today and this heat wave will intensify from May 18 to 20.
According to the meteorological dept, the temperature can reach 43 to 48 degrees Celsius in most places of Sindh and Punjab, while the temperature is likely to be up to 50 degrees Celsius in the plains of Punjab and Sindh.
On the other hand, the coastal belt of Sindh, including Karachi, will not experience extreme heat due to sea breezes, but the weather will remain hot and humid in Karachi.
According to the meteorological dept, the temperature of the city may rise to 36 to 38 degrees Celsius.
