KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) issued a weather advisory that several areas of the Province of Sindh will continue to witness severe heat for the next few days.
According to the advisory, the temperature in Karachi and other parts of the province will be unusually high compared to the average temperature, with strong winds blowing in Karachi starting tomorrow.
A new fresh weather system is set to enter on May 1, and rains in the upper areas of the country are expected till May 5.
This forecast can bring some relief to the Sindh region as, according to PMD the new system will pour some rain in the province in between May 2 to May 3.
Earlier, the PMD announced that from April 26 to May 1, day temperatures are expected to be 5-7 degrees Celsius higher than typical in southern regions like as Sindh, southern Punjab, and Balochistan.
