ISLAMABAD: The residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi have witnessed heavy rainfall, light hail today in the afternoon, which made the weather cold in the federal capital.
The rain provided the much-needed relief to the residents from the dry weather and smog.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Cloudy weather with rain-thunderstorm (snowfall over the hills) is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while rain-windstorm/thunderstorm (isolated hailstorm) may occur at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeastern Punjab, and the Potohar region. Dry weather is expected in other central/ southern parts of the country.
